Farewell David Halberstam

The sudden death of inspiring writer David Halberstam has jolted the world of my old journalism school. As someone with passions for two of Halberstam's favorite topics, baseball and Vietnam, I just want to send out this small but heartfelt tribute to him. His extraordinary contributions to journalism and American history will have an immeasurable influence on many generations to come. His efforts to uncover the truth of a war were truly admirable, and his baseball writing was simply enjoyable. Now I only have 19 more books of his to read - he published 21!
